North-Eastern Montessori School is offering a limited number of places for students entering Cycle 3 (Year 4) in 2023.
We believe that young people are capable individuals and our School creates the environment where learning happens naturally and students are empowered to excel. Students at our School are encouraged to become independent learners and are guided by expert teachers in a nurturing and progressive environment. Our rigorous curriculum standards foster excellence and our vibrant community makes North-Eastern a place where we all love to learn.
Eligibility Criteria
North-Eastern Montessori School Scholarship students are strong and capable learners who would not normally be able to attend our School based on their current financial situation and/or they are from historically disadvantaged cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
Students applying for Scholarship will be able to demonstrate one or more of the following attributes:
- Academic excellence in a particular subject domain or across a number of subject areas
- Are positive contributors to their community or school with motivation to make a difference at a local or global level
- A demonstrated creative or athletic ability showing particular potential in the Arts or Physical Education
Application Process
Families are requested to complete the Scholarship Application Form, and return it, along with all requested documentation, on or before the closing date. Eligible families will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal.

Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Scholarships will be awarded on merit, following the selection criteria and interview, and will be determined at the discretion of the Principal
An invitation to attend an interview will not necessarily mean a scholarship will be offered.
Offers will be made in writing by the Principal following the interview process
Scholarships are awarded on the understanding that the student will maintain high standards of achievement across all their studies, participate to the best of their ability in School activities and adhere to School policies and rules.
