You want the best for your child.
You also know that your child is unique, an individual.
They are constantly looking for new challenges.
Yet also love immersing themselves in an idea or task they are passionate about.
You know how important the primary years are for having fun, being engaged, and developing a love of learning that can take them well beyond traditional education and into their adult years.
You also want to make sure that they are developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and learning how to learn, not just what to learn.
We understand all of that.
At North-Eastern Montessori we empower individuals to excel, by fanning the flames of their natural curiosity. Our skilled Montessori trained educators are expert in encouraging independent exploration and discovery, whilst helping to facilitate their holistic study of ideas and concepts.
At North-Eastern we value the process more than the product. We want our students to try, to make mistakes, and to learn how to self-correct along the way. The use of Montessori materials in all our classrooms encourages further exploration, with in-built self-correction tools that help all our students experience a sense of accomplishment.
All Montessori environments are prepared for multi-age groupings of children, and its no different at North-Eastern. In our Cycle 1 classrooms the Foundation students are the senior students, providing them with the chance to share their learning with their younger classmates, therefore reinforcing their learning whilst also developing leadership and mentoring skills. As they move on to Cycle 2, and Year 1, they experience the opportunity of being the youngest, however have already been able to settle in to full time school and learning.
We’d love to show you how Foundation at North-Eastern Montessori School may be the right fit for your child and your family.
