Drawn to Montessori education because of its deep respect for each child’s natural curiosity, Madushani delights in guiding our youngest learners as they build their independence and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Joining North-Eastern Montessori in 2016, she has over a decade of experience in early childhood education, and holds a Diploma of Children’s Services, a Diploma of Montessori Methods (3-6 years), and an Association Montessori Internationale Orientation Certificate for the 0–3 age group. Having chosen North-Eastern Montessori School to educate her own children, Madushani values the School’s nurturing and supportive community.

Early Learning Assistant

Intrigued by childhood language acquisition, Sophia was drawn to early childhood education after observing 4–6-year-old students as part of a university research project completed as part of a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies majoring in Language and Linguistics.
